GS gives you more health so it's equally useful against all types of mob, although for me, the amount of points necessary for a significant stam gain is too steep.
NA gives you more bang for your buck (so to speak)
but it's only helpful vs physical damage, which is great when
So the answer really is, it depends what you're fighting. If you think your pet will be taking physical damage, take NA. If you're fighting casters, GS is more useful,
but in this case, I'd usually spend the points in resistances.
For PvP, I'd recommend resistances over both. Nobody with half a brain is going to be gunning for your pet anyway, he'd just need to be protected
against AoE. Personally I like taking Frost and Arcane resist. It's always funny to see your pet resist CC.-Verata - Blood Elf Death Knight

I'd say split them between the two evenly, or with a bias towards stam.
The higher level you go into GS or NA, the more points per training point it is, but then with armor,
each point of armor is worth less than the last one. More stam is also better against casters.
He'll still need some armor, unless all he's doing is fighting casters he has resistances for.-Ore-tachi wo dare da to omotte yagaru?!One of my pets is very focused towards Offense. So much so that I have to choose which defensive abilities to teach it. For the most part this pet will be used for farming and PvP, and I'm curious as to which ability i should focus on teaching it with its' unused points.
For the record I'm primarily a SV/MM build, and have a different pet that I plan to use/spec for specific resistances as needed. Also,
I rarely participate in raid settings, or really any event besides PvP that involve more than a few (5-10) close friends.
I guess my main question is how to break down the remaining points. Should I go full distribution towards
GS or NA, or should I split them up between the two? And is there diminishing returns from either.
edit: I forgot to mention, yes I have taught avoidance.
