Hunter's Role in Raiding.2010-03-22 00:00:00is no designated role for
hunters,
In my guild if I am in a dungeon/raid I am the designated puller, not by choice, but by designation due to class. If you want to see a safe pull, try having a warrior pull Rattlegore in scholo without pulling the adds behind. On my rogue I had seen i...
HUNTER VS. WARLOCK2010-03-13 00:00:00those DoTs, Warlocks don't match
hunters IMO.
Money's the same for both really. Depends on what you fight and your professions.

The "Check" on Hunters?2010-03-01 00:00:00So, we all know that WoW has a kind of setup as far as how classes compare to eachother. My current main is a Mage, and I have never had a Hunter above level 18 (my next project).
However, I have fault them many times and the only ones I win against are the ones so bad that they make me cry.
So, I got to thinking. What class has an advantage over them? All casters are slowed due to their pet (which also eats up a CC, depending on how strong it is). Their Traps and Shots (and Boar Stuns) keep me where THEY want me (mostly).
Maybe a Warrior? But a Warrior will have trouble closing the gap between them, and cannot heal himself. He also has no choice but to kill the pet or allow it to hit him.
Maybe a Paladin? Better, due to the ability to heal and bubbl...
do hunters need much haste rating2009-04-07 00:00:00many classes aswell as
hunters, this may be a new stat that could be worth taking.
Also armor penetration seems to be popping up on a lot of gear too...I surmise that since Haste Rating increases the speed in which you wield or fire your weapons, Hunters wou...
Gun with high or low speed ??2009-04-07 00:00:00Hi everyone.
I was wondering what is best "a gun with high speed or low speed"?
I am a dwarf hunter. So guns are what I want.
I was thinking that fast gun with 1.7 speed is good because your aspect of hawks apply on every shot. But I am not sure if slow guns is maybe better as it has higher top damage.
Any comments?
Borix Think more about Damage Per Second (DPS) rather than the speed of your shots. The faster you shoot PLUS the bigger the damage per shot in average, is the best gun. This shows you in the weapon's stats. Eg: 93.3 DPS.
Here's a better explanation of it: that's true people say that DPS is good.
And then I was thinking that with a fast gun, You can interrupt players more in there castings. And I was thinking with fast gun your bonus that comes from aspect of the hawk and the Hunters mark is apply on every shot, so the more shots you do per 1 min more bonus you squeeze out, or what ?? :)
Example:
I am looking at a 2 guns with the same DPS but one is 1.7 speed and the other is 2.3. Which one is better?
The faster Guns have lower top damage then the slow ones.
Does that mean the bonus that comes from Aspect of the hawk and the Hunters mark is lower on the fast guns that the slow g...
Hunters DoTing? NO WAY!?2009-04-07 00:00:00I've heard that
hunters are going to be able to do DoT i mean not
that they can't right now but like massively. Is this true?
Serpent Sting does DoT and so does Immolation Trap, Explosive Trap and Snake Trap. As far as your question...
WoW Leatherworking Guide 1-3752009-03-10 00:00:00Leatherworking Overview
Leatherworkers often double up with the Skinning tradeskill. They can skin beasts that they have slain and use the leather to create armor for themselves and others. Leatherworkers are able to craft an extensive amount of Epic quality armors, both Bind on Pickup and Bind on Equip. They are also able to use Drums C usable items that give short duration group buffs.
Leatherworking Specialization
At skill level 200, a Leatherworker is able to choose a specialization. The options are Elemental Leatherworking, Tribal Leatherworking, and Dragonscale Leatherworking.
This is just a nice quick overview to increase your leatherworking skill. For an in-depth guide that also includes gold making as well, take a look at this WoW profession guide.
Elemental Leatherworkers tend to craft items that increase their resists to different schools of magic. At max. skill level they can make Epic quality Belt, Bracers and Chest called Primalstrike that is best suited for Rogues and Feral Druids.
Tribal Leatherworkers tend to craft items with Intellect and Stamina bonuses. At max. skill level they can make Epic quality Belt, Bracers and Chest called Windhawk that is best suited for Balance and Restor...
